what the fuck is

metAlchemy

anyway?

A holistic philosophy, metAlchemy—sometimes written as meta alchemy, meta² or meta-alchemy—is similar to a religion or spiritual conviction in that it guides all aspects of life with one defining principle. In metAlchemy, that principle is the universal law of equivalent exchange.

The philosophy can be practiced alongside any existing religious faith with the caveat of tolerance: in metAlchemy, one must acknowledge all faiths as true. Why? Because you must treat others as you want to be treated and you want your own faith to be treated as true.

This philosophy is grounded in science, with an avowed atheist (Deist if you're splitting hairs, as atheists often do) developing it; it is compatible with an atheistic worldview, as it proclaims only the existence of energy, a force of nature we only somewhat understand but can observe.

A metAlchemist strives to achieve and maintain a state of personal and universal equilibrium. This is done through good deeds and harm reduction, an active balance of work and home life, and other positive neurostimulation techniques, such as the playlist augury introspection.
