Who am I? I'm so glad you asked.
My name is Chelle Truman, but you may know me better as my alter ego: Maia Gadwall.
You can also call me Maia, if you like.
In my personal life, I am married to my best friend—my stag and my rock. I'm a mother to a fabulous kiddo who is becoming an incredible young adult and two tomcats who identify as a dog and a diva.

We live in a small and quiet rural town in Missouri. I have many hobbies besides art and activism, including outdoorsmanship, cooking, gaming, and reading.

I'm active in many communities (including BDSM, ENM, and LGBTQ+), in art and writing circles, and supporting a general strike. I believe in integrity, diversity, equity, and a global decentralized communist sociocracy.
Professionally, I dabble in a little of everything, often referring to myself as a Jill-of-all-Trades, a Renaissance woman, and a general maker and fixer of things. Primarily, I am an artist, and I am currently taking commission requests.

To complement my experience with a formal education, I recently completed the Google Career Certification Course via Coursera. This course is designed and taught by Google to ready candidates for entry level roles in the field.
As a challenge, I decided to complete the six month program within the seven-day trial period, beginning on September 2nd, 2024.
