Visual Artwork

A recent transition brought me to the digital world, where I enjoy blending traditional techniques and new tools to repair damaged work and bring novel ideas to life. I primarily use GIMP, Photoshop, and Inkscape.

A Mardi Gras and voodoo-themed hand-drawn illustration

There's something irreplaceable about the sensations that accompany painting: the smell of the oil, the slick wetness of the gliding brush, and the stark contrast of color and texture as a brush stroke lands.

An abstract impressionist painting of a breakup

These media are unforgiving and difficult to master. Mistakes take considerable effort to correct and sometimes mar a piece so badly that it cannot be recovered. The challenge is what makes them fun!

A watercolor painting of an arctic forest snowfall and aurora

From Adobe to Canva, I've had my toes in the graphic design pool for years. I enjoy creating compelling designs for flyers, websites, coupons, book covers, merchandise, and many enchanting characters!

While much of my art is two-dimensional, I also create tactile designs for decor, clothing, and even gifts for the holidays. I enjoy crafting functional, interactive multimedia art you can hold in your hands!

A mosaic collage of an eye

My first love and my safe place, these soft, dry media are my comfort zone and, by far, make up the majority of my art. From portraits to landscapes to vignettes, almost all of my early pieces belong here.

About My Art Style

My personal style lands somewhere between the whimsical and the macabre. Politically outspoken, erotically charged, or sweet simplicity—no matter the vibe, I live to subvert expectations. See a few of my favorite pieces below and get a feel for the kinds of fantastical things I make when I let my mind wander into the uncharted depths of imagination and emotion.
